Three steps. Zero manual research.

We pull directly from Austin and Collin County open data APIs every day, then filter to what matters for your trade and service area.

Step 01

Tell us your trade & zip codes

Choose your trade (roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, new construction, etc.) and the zip codes you serve. Set a minimum job value if you want.

Step 02

We pull the permits daily

Our system hits Austin and Collin County open data APIs every day. New permits get matched to your filters, deduplicated, and queued for your digest.

Step 03

Your digest lands Friday morning

Every Friday, you get a clean email with every new permit that matched your criteria that week. Address, value, contractor, permit number. Ready to act on.

Real permits. Real data. This week.

This is the actual format of your weekly digest — pulled from live public records, not scraped listings.

Common questions

Where does the data come from?
Directly from government open data APIs. Austin publishes permits daily via their Socrata open data portal. Collin County (McKinney, Frisco, Plano, Allen) publishes via the Texas Open Data Portal. All data is public record — we just clean it, filter it, and put it in your inbox.
How fresh is the data?
Austin updates daily. Collin CAD updates daily. We pull every day and deliver your filtered digest every Friday morning. Permits issued Monday through Thursday will be in Friday's digest.
What cities are covered?
Currently: Austin and the Collin County area (McKinney, Frisco, Plano, Allen, Lavon). We're adding Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio as fast-follow markets — Pro and Team subscribers get new markets automatically.
Can I change my filters after I subscribe?
Yes. Reply to any digest email or email support@txpermitalert.com and we'll update your filter configuration within 24 hours.
What if there are no permits matching my filters that week?
We skip the digest rather than sending an empty email. You won't be charged extra for slow weeks or get billed for periods of no activity.
Can I try it first?
Email us at hello@txpermitalert.com with your trade and zip codes and we'll send you a sample digest from last week's data — no credit card required.
